What is Aromatherapy Jewelry? This is jewelry that you can wear the scent of your favorite therapeutic essential oil on. What I love about this is that there are a few options that cater to everyone. These pieces come primarily in the form of necklaces and bracelets, but I have seen some earrings before. I personally own a necklace and I LOVE it. These pieces are basically lockets that hold a scent in them, which is super cool. However, some are also made of a type of leather material which holds the scent as well. How To UseAll you have to do is apply a few drops of you favorite essential oil to the felt/cardboard type of material that is made to go into these necklaces (or if you're crafty, you could make your own). For the leather ones, you just apply the drops directly onto the material. Why I Love ItI am in love with my necklace for a few reasons. One, it looks pretty cool. I was able to find one on Amazon that had a Celtic cross design on it, which is right up my ally. Second, it's really nice to have that favorite scent that you go to day after day hanging on your neck. True, you could just put it in a roller bottle. BUT that scent would fade quicker than this one. I've noticed that my scent can last from 1-3 days. Lastly, I love the convenience of my necklace. I don't have to worry about finding my bottle of oil to take care of my aromatherapy needs when I can have the scent I'm looking for in my necklace. All I have to do is hold it close to my face and breathe in. Where To Get OneI'd check online. Amazon had some decently priced ones. You could also look for one in the store of your favorite essential oil provider. Those will usually be more expensive, but you can always check as a last resort. If you can't find one online you can always check at craft stores and see if they have any. You never know. So, that's it. This is my latest obsession and I'm loving every second of having it.
